I'm on playchess also. Kasparov likes kibitzing here. Does he do that over at ICC?

Still a complicated position, but Leko shouldn't have too many problems. I'm trying to come up with a good plan. Fritz likes Rb7 best, with discovery on rook. I suppose this is good since Black's queen can't post on c5.

Alexcy and I see you. 🙂

Leko makes his move finally 41.Kh2. I think he just plans to advance the h-pawn, not worrying about blockading the c-pawn.

I think Carlsen should have played 40. Bc6...

Yeah, I put this into chessmaster 10k and it drew against itself.

I wonder which was really best though.

Leko has a forced variation to simplify it. Carlsen will probably resign soon.

After 43.Re3?! Carlsen could have get more defendable position with 43....Qd7, but he played 43....Re8? now after 44.Rxe8 Nxe8 45.Qc6 (which was played) Leko is winning.

They have a webcam up as well as live game from official site. Interesting to see.

Leko plays g5!. Good move, paralyzing the black pawns on the queenside. They are a target for the bishop now. Black has a strong grip on the queenside so White takes his play to the otherside.

    Carlsen resigns.

Very good tournament performance none-the-less. Not sure who will win on tie-breaks between him and Morozevich. Seems to me that Carlsen struggles against the more solid, positional players. He got wins against Ivanchuk, Morozevich, and Topalov.

Yeah, its still amazing how fast Carslen became a SuperGM...

If you check out his rating chart on Fide.com it shows how amazing his improvement is: http://www.fide.com/ratings/id.phtml?event=1503014

I hope he becomes world champion soon.
