OK. I admit resignation in 10 mate in 11 but its close enough and not against a patzer.

Nothing special, just another illustration of how a 1600+ can make a terrible mistake, too.
Originally posted by HindsteinOkay, I know that this doesn't fit this thread since it is on the 11th move I get mate but it is the ever elusive mate using just one knight with no support.
After reading about some of the great wins in under 20 moves in another thread, I thought that is might be worth having a thread dedicated to those even earlier mates. This could be a valuable thread for learning as it could point to flawed openings and less well known traps in the opening.
I'll start the ball rolling with game that demonstrated the dangers of playing the Damiano Defence as Black.

Even though it is a thematic Fried Liver Attack, even with the complete opening it would have been under 10 moves:

Mate in 11 vs. 1700+; a real fluke. Dragon Fire's beats this.

10 moves & nice trap Game 1485245 😀
*EDit -- just noticed that in most of my bltiz games its a knight not a bishop on g4, which IMO, is less sound than Bg4
