Why bother? bf4 and game over, whatever he plays, the pawn queens. A rook can't beat a Queen.

It's not a "whatever" move, it's a "whatever" king move, or your next move is impossible. 😉

So it's
1. Bf4+ wkm 2. Bg5
or
1. Bf4+ Rxf4 2. h8=Q
