Congratulations are due to "The Pest" User 189177 who has just tanned my fat bottom 4 times in a row - and breached the 2000 mark. He's a brilliant and very creative and versatile player. To attain these Elysian heights was always my New Year's resolution; now it seems that was not to be!

This player deserves his success, but would some >2000 chaps please give him a good duffing-up?

I'm now playing an unrated game with him. I expect to lose this, too!

Reaching such "dizzy heights" seems to be eluding me too. Every time I get close I find my lost games in progress seem to overwhelm me.

Of course I could just drag them out, take on and win a few more "easy" games and perhaps make it but what would be the fun in having 20 games in progress, all lost.

Very true, he is quite the challenging opponent. Maybe we will play again in the not too distant future. 🙂
