Can any of you recommend a cure for bad form in blitz on Playchess? I seem to be getting good positions and then lose on time. My stats as the time controls are lowered are not that good.

Well your blitz rating seems to be decent, but your bullet sucks. Maybe you should focus on improving your bullet first. Stop playing 3/0 and play exclusively 1/0. This also improves your blitz as you learn to play faster and spot tactics faster.
And yes, like Korch mentioned, taking little break from chess might help too.

I can advice to take a rest - don`t blitz at least few days. It helps.
Finally after a couple two or three months(i think) and some time off of playing blitz; I am back to 'round 1800 again. Seems i focus much better after I've taken a little time off every now and then.

Other players aren't better than you only faster.
I completely agree. I tried bullet chess a few times and actually beat a 2400 at it, but all it showed was that I had a better mouse and could avoid the few feeble traps he was able to construct in the little time available. I don't understand the fascination that so many players have with bullet chess.

Its not perfect but it was fun ( i could lose it , i know ) to play against my rival and the time ... few days ago I lost a game against Korch when I was winning ... it was great to play against him, thats all !
We can play chess with different goals , so I dont understand why you understimate bullet or blitz chess ...
I agree with your comments about bullet chess (1-2 minute games)being mostly about whose the fastest (that's why i hate playing it) but i disagree with anyone who says that blitz chess(up to 15 minutes per opponent) takes no skill at all and it's all about the time. Many games I’ve seen have ended with over 5 minutes left on the clock and someone was either checkmated or about to be and so they just resigned.

I play blitz but not bullet because bullet is not about ability but about how quick you can make a move, any move!
