Big win for me against an oponent several hundred points above myself. I also liked how I was able to fight back, despite being (or atleast feeling) exposed on the kingside

Yes, but queening that h-pawn instead of taking black's pawn with the bishop just gave the game away.

That's exactly the first thing he said in our subsequent game. I didn't really plan towards the checkmate, I carried on playing and let him know that I was disappointed but he said about two moves before "i still reckon there's a twist or two to come . . ."
I thought this was an intersting game. i made a mistake of letting his/her knight and bishop into that position and thought the best way out was to do the same
