He also signs up for any tournament he's entitled to. BTW, noticed that some people (probably fed up and with no way to win the tournament) resign their games with him. This maybe explains his growing rating...
Mind you, I've played him twice, and he isn't such a 'good' player. One game I could give him mate in 12 moves...
I think the game needs to have 3 or more moves (both sides) before ratings are adjusted.

Originally posted by SquelchbelchYeah, but Marco Krale hasn't moved in 9 days so even without several hundred in progress games I think his rating would drop. He sustained a high game load for quite a while.

Ouch!
I really don't understand people with that many games - I entered too many of the thematic tournaments and ended up with 80 odd games which is far too many and not much fun - although I've only been timed out in 1 so far and the rest are slowly finishing. 1000+ is just madness.
I'm playing a couple of games with him - winning most of them, while his rating used to hang (heng) around mine. In this game he just blundered, I think Game 3634262

He's in the June 2007 Banded Duel 1800+. That should be fun if the tournament starts and he decides to play...
He's signing up for every tournament that comes available. And when his top rating was something like 1820, he will always be able to enter tournaments in the 1700-1800 group, since your tournament entry rating will never drop more than 100 below your top rating...
I think this is not realy correct, seeing he will probably drop below 1000 pretty soon now...
