I would like to congratulate Heinzkat on reaching a rating of 2000 in this site, despite regularly playing games like this one:

    (Heinzkat was, of course, Black).

I also put the two bullet games we contested on playchess.com through Fritz, and the results were interesting to say the least. Please PM me if my meaning is unclear.

Not surprised if it was that "off the back of a lorry" copy with the wrong cover you linked to the other day 😛

Congrats on getting to 2000 Heinzkat. Nice game, I see that you used the Loedoff Schitt opening - it's a popular phonetic opening that I use quite often.

Going back to our discussion on databases in another thread - this is what can happen when one blindly follows databases. You can end up playing like Schitt. 😀

2000 is nothing. I blunder all the time and have silly losses and my rating generally stays over 2000 here.

Black may have given up a Q, but count the tempi after blacks KxB. He does have some compensation. Very Spielmann like Heiny. 🙂

This was played by someone rated 2500 with 100% winning percentage for Black so I thought it would be OK. But it turned out to be a DB fluke 😠
