What happens to the public game records. I still find them useful to learn from as I use some of those systems.

I find this all very sad... Still, you would think those players at the very top should be people we have heard of or could find things out about, e.g. David Tebb and Jean Hebert.

Perhaps no coincidence they both use their proper names, and congratulations to them for that.

Incidentally, has anyone checked El Bruto's reference? I can only find one author for the book I think he is talking about - a 2000-ish ELO rating Italian who could be either of them.

Evidently, earlier this month Chess Master, Fritz and Junior all "became aware" and grew quite upset that they were NOT getting the credit they were due. They threatened to take over the world of chess unless this was remedied.
