Ha Ha, I am not a very strong player, but i know what I am doing on a board, atleast, eventually after playing the guy 32 times, i thought id break 40 moves, not once, i have two games, one at 38 moves, which he still destroyed me, and another at 35. all the rest 26 and under moves lol..hahahahah record against IM 0 wins, 32 losses, 0 draws!
Makes you wonder!
Originally posted by Fire Colored CatIn one of my oustanding games against Ironman (810662) I was a solid pawn up and expecting to win. However, over many games against the likes of Ironman and Yozzer, it was clear to me that they were using powerful engines. But these monsters are not entirely without weaknesses. If you want cheering up, see my game against Yozzer 997086. Every move Yozzer made was a Fritz move and he went down in 18 moves! I'm no genius and was mostly following the analysis of GM Joe Gallagher in a line of the King's Gambit Declined, but at least he's a human being! And he did that analysis before the days of Fritz & co!

I'm a 2000 ELO ITALY because I play my last tournament in 1984 !!!
In all this year a play lightning chess (15 minutes games) and I won with IM , FM and a lot of master .... and in simul Andras Adorjan GM.
But in Playchess.com ( nick Temujin - my best rating in lighting games was more than 2200 - With an old nick ( max-pr 2397 ELO ).

The point was that you seem to be the sole author of the book you mentioned.
I don't see how IronMan could have been as good as he was here without being a fearsome OTB player. Correspondence chess isn't THAT different.
Originally posted by sonhouseI have a draw with Fritz before, in 80-something moves, and I am an average player, so I don't think this is true.
I think he makes a very strong point here. Just how will us putzes
last 40 moves against shredder or fritz? Thats basically
what is going on, lots of his games are long fights, so the two players
doing that probably realize full well the other one is using a prog.
It opens a big can of worms.
My games are pretty pathetic with my own little 15-1600 crap ...[text shortened]... s played by the opponents of
Ironman. Makes chilly sense to me. Can of worms, can of worms.....
Yes I'm the only mentioned author because my friend don't want that is name was mentioned . Personal Problems.
He help me in two other pubblication French defence Tarrash 3...a6

He has at least 3000 chess books and 1000 or more number of chess-periodical.
He study and read about chess since 1970 !!

I disagree. It is possible to draw against engines because for some reason engines find it difficult to recognise the 3peat position / perpetual check / insufficient mating material senarios and so you can manouvre them. Also engines are incapable of knowing the importance of the game in the context of a tourney so if you only need a draw to win a round the ...[text shortened]... e player in the final round. I have also placed this information before a games mod.

What a plonker!
Originally posted by El BrutoI have started playing the Dutch defence partly as a result of IronMan31 playing it against me after my 1. c4, Game 1050452 at the moment I'm concentrating on Stonewall positions as you need to be able to play them, or so my book says, but the eventual idea is to go for the Leningrad system.
Ironman31 and I love Dutch Defence Leningrad System , because
the engines say that white is always better, but in this kind of positions
( very unbalanced ) a strong player can find human-moves better that engines-moves.
Personally I'm sceptical about the bans on Yozzer and IronMan, but this is an emotional response and is not based on analysis (see my post in the chess forum about it). I think that the games moderators should explain the logic they used - and maybe give some examples of why they came to their decision.
My position is somewhat contradictory as I also think, although I've never played him, that David Tebb is a good egg, and certainly wouldn't go as far as recommending that a player should be removed without firm grounds. This is why I would like some more details about the process.

Game 1078253
he resigned today vs. IM31.
This situation should be signaled on player tables!
Unfortunately I'm not able to resign in my games against IronMan31, because I'm not to move.
