25.b4 cxb4 26.Qxb4 looks dangerous

I assume its 23. b4 cxb4 24. Qxb4

then we play 24... rd8 (threatening rxe5)

and we have 25.... ra6 threatening 26... rb6?

I'd personally go with:
23...cxd! and 24...Rxe5

And I hardly think that IM would weaken his king's pawn screen position so dangerously.

Okay does anyone else want to propose a move, to correct the variants we have outlined, or to share his/hers strategical view on the situation? Or are we ready for the vote?

I don't know why we missed this move. Initial impression suggests that he will reposition his knight to d6 via c4. Not sure how good the move is really, but it should cause us concern.

Maybe we can play 22...Rd5!? and after 23.Nc4 Ra6 24.Nd6+ Kb8 our rook is not cut out from the "d"-file and exerts pressure on the h5 pawn. I would look at this some more time before I give any further input.

Instead of 23 ..Ra6, maybe Ra4 with 2 rooks placing pressure on the pawn on d4.

Position is defendable despite the knight on that square. we can undermine c5 later and just roll with the punches.

ra4 might not be so good after qb3.

I agree with rd5 though...

I think I was the only one who didn't.

I did warn you. But would you listen? Oh, no.

Then you should have spoken at the right time instead of making "I told you so" claims now. Now if you really want to help us give the position a look and tell us what is the best continuation for the current position.
