If I have forced mate in 1?
The guy/gal is sandbagging and quit making moves once I achieved mate in 1. I'm guessing the dirty work is then left up to me. I shouldn't feel bad about this right?
Thanks
Weadley.

It's always OK to time out a player, don't feel guilty, they'd do it to you. I'd do it to you in a heartbeat.
You have 64 games completed and 49 wins, very impressive. Of course, 40 of those wins are by TIMEOUT!
FORTY FREAKING WINS (out of 49Total) by timeout? Are you here to play chess or get cheap points?

How many people here have a total of 64 games completed and 40 of them wins by timeout? I'm willing to go out on a limb here and say only 1.
How is that his fault??
You are a very good chess player dodger11, you just keep on winning by timeout.
Originally posted by tmetzlerUhhh, excuse me, douche, but only about 20 of my wins are by timeout, and most of those were wins, where the opponent just stopped playing. It's true I've timed out people when i had a bad position, but there aren't that many of them.

By the way, tmetzler, I should point out that you are a liar and the record of my public games is there for everyone to check. I certainly do NOT have 40 out of 49 wins by time out. Just what you been smokin'? Also, as I pointed out before, most of my timeouts were won games anyway, so screw off, liar.
Originally posted by Dodger11You are correct that I was wrong. Got my sql query screwed up. I apologize for that. HOWEVER. It makes me mistaken, not a liar.

Still you have a total of 21 wins by TIMEOUT. that is still: 32.8% of your total wins. Does winning by timeout please you? Or is it simply because you are limited to 6 games at a time?
Edit: I bet you still have the winning timeout/win average on RHP.
Well tmetzler let me give you an example, check out my current games. I currently have two dead wins (one is a mate in ONE) where the people are not moving anymore..Think I'm not going to time them out? And as I've said before, if you check my other timeouts, MOST of them were games that i was up material on, and the person didn't want to move anymore, so screw off. I will admit to taking timeouts a FEW times in a lost or even position, but so what?
Well it seems to me that you have bragged about this particular tactic before in the forums.
You have claimed to purposefully move when you know your opponent is done for the day, (even as far as to try to "time it" ) just so they will run out of timebank. (Not that hard with 1/0 games). So do you truly consider yourself a "good sportsman"?

Yep...I've bragged about making moves and checking back just after the one day time bank is over. So what? Like i said, MOST of my wins by timeout were in games where i had either a material advantage or a dead- won game, and if i took a time out on a bad position, there were only a few of them, and it's certainly not something that they wouldn't have done to me. What do you care anyway?

OK, here's what I do, and it's worked MANY times: Pick a new game at 1 day per move, zero time bank. Then watch what time of day your opponent moves, and jump in right after he logs off and move instantly. THEN, grasshopper, check onto the site just when the 24 hour time is up, and declare a win if the dumb sap misses it by a few minutes. I have won many a game against higher rated players in this way, most of them were dead losses for me. I'm quite the sportsman. You can be too!!!
I don't care in the sense that anything happens on RHP actually matters. I just wonder if you understand the concept behind a chess site such as this. You definitely don't think of it the same way as I do.
Suggestion: why don't you add a little note in your profile that lets your opponents know that "I fully intend to win on timeout, if at all possible." Then they can't complain when you do.
