Spot on!

I love the King Gambit too and I think it all really started because I always felt that the knight was in my way when using it as opening. The Knight development (chasing the Black queen away) like it did in the Immortal one only happens once in a liftime.

The knight wouldn't be in your way if you left it on g1 for the moment. And as an added bonus you would be up a tempo.

I feel sorry for your poor knight who just gets in the way! Couldn't you put it on h3 if you really don't like it?

I really don't understand why everyone is trying to talk a potential opponent out of playing an incredibly suspect gambit.

Well the thing is that Kh3 will allow the oponent to develop its pieces or pawn --> here it "forces" the oponent to take the knight and get back on c6:

1) the black dont develop pieces or pawns
2) the black play Nc6 --> Ne5 then back to c6 which is one of the thing you're suppose to avoid (loosing one move or putting the piece back where it was before you moved)

But you've wasted the same number, two knight moves plus another move to develop a piece. You get 1 tempo and a pawn for the knight!

Looking forward to seeing the game against zebano.

It's a very weird opening. That is why I am guessing you are W=9 L=14 D=3. Read up on some other openings, because I have found many faults with yours.

I never make faults.

I just find thousand ways that won't work.

Play and learn I guess

Thanks for your reply.

I aint convince it's good or worth it, but eh everything is worth trying it. My oponent did tons of mistakes, so I aint really proud of that first victory with the "Jee are you out of your brain"-Gambit.

Now I am gonna play Zebano and will tell you about the damage if I happen to survive.

Gods of Knights forgive me in advance
