There was a short discussion at http://michael-boyd.net/forum about the knight on f3 (or f6). Is it the best defender of the king? Is it worth it to keep the piece there all game defending instead of using it elsewhere to attack?

Can you ever make such a general statement and expect it to help in chess??

The knight should move when it's to your advantage...ditto with the pawns in front of the castled position.

And where do I claim to have started my site in 1970? Thats a forum idiot. The first member always gets the date depending on the forum software.

    You truly are stupid.

It's an eerily empty forum. Hence your persistent spamming of this forum.
