On black's tenth move could he have played, 10...cxd5 11.exd5 11...Qxe1 12.Nxe1 12...bxc4 13.Qxc4. Would black be better off?
After 13.Nc7+ if 13...Ke7 I intended 14. exd6+ which looks pretty promising, and if 13...Kd8, I don't really know which move is best. Maybe 14.exd6 or 14.Qxf7+?
Anybody's input is greatly appreciated. I'm sure my opponent was too easy on me. Or perhaps i missed an even quicker win.
On last thing, do any of my moves deserve exclamation marks? Or maybe question marks??.
Thanks all.
That is because you are not familiar with the game...

Your game was very good by the way and although missing a mate in one,
with a an idle Rook on a1 and a killing check in the position it is entirely
understandable. Not forgivable, but understanable.
(I have missed mate in one twice OTB - I won both games, they cropped up mid
combination - I saw the mates in 3/4 but missed the one movers).
Check all Checks 😳
