Do players respond better in tournament play here at RHP than in the "Open invites" ?
I thinking of entering a tournament, just hope it isnt as slow as "open invites."

If you enter a tournament with a large group size there will always plenty of moves waiting. The longest waiting time is between rounds, as all games need to be completed before the next round begins.

Tournaments are more fun. . . Sign up for one.

Wrong question.

Open invites are little used by clan members. Join a clan and the question becomes one between clan challenges and tournaments. You'll forget that open invites exist.

true.

Then your clans start wanting to run inter-clan tournaments and all heck breaks loose...

Tournament games win hands down. Open invites are only of value to non subscribers and those that want the odd, quick, casual game. For example if they want to show how good they are with 1. g4 by beating dozens of people rated 400+ points below them.
