Alas, you are correct though, as in contract law....don't put it in the contract unless you intend to use it. I held out that in a bastion such as this, we wouldn't have a room full of barristers.

So, you are okay with the practice of dragging out games when it was stated prior to starting that it MUST BE QUICK or SHORT DURATION game? Whether I have only 6 games or 600 games going, it makes no difference to making my point. And, for the record, I am examining this site to determine if I want to join it and the incidents I am referring to are being performed by members. Sort of reflects badly on the membership, don't you think?

If you only want to play very quick games, then only accept games with time controls which you are happy with, such as 1/0.
If you really want to play a 30 minute game, then try live chess as a site like www.uchess.com.
