Rating when one starts

How come someone who just starts begins with a rating of 1960 and after winning 5 games of opponents rated under 1500 still has a rating of 1760 ? eg. dawqdaddy I though we all start at p1200

There is no dawqdaddy in the players register, there isn't even anybody doing by dawq at all

Maybe dawqdaddy found out about the Parallax Corporation and took a ride on a boat.

Well, obviously my eyes in reading are as bad as my focus when playing, I meant of course dawGdaddy. I am aware of the errati behaviour of rating at the start but did not not think jumping from 1200 to 1900 was within the parameters of any probabilities. It seems when I started I was stuck from 1200 and slowly moved upward but maybe it is an exception. My ego would have really felt good in the first 20 games to begin with such ratings and I maybe would have gained the confidence to challenge Gaurav after a couple of games.
