Not quite. Everyone then is equally good or bad!

But a tournament in which the strongest rated player must either play h4 or reply h5 night just do the trick. The lower rated player can do what he wants!

I'm testing another site, as is my habit. One of my opponents played 1.h4. I took his queen on move 17, and the only move 18 that gets him out of check loses a bishop (unless he wants to be mated on move 19).

I'll post the game here when completed if there is sufficient interest.

Yes, please do.

I didn't know you were GM material Wulebgr, but to beat an invincible opening like that you must be. Please post the game when you are done so we can all see how master dragon proves you wrong.🙄

Here are 5 unreated games starting from 1.h4 against players rated 1700-1800.

All I need are 5 people brave enough to accept them.

Please note I will not play these at blitz speeds.

Game 2293278
Game 2293281
Game 2293286
Game 2293288
Game 2293291

Why Unrated?

That says it all.

Why would I want to play someone rated 1300. RahimK contends that does not prove anything and I must play people rated 1800.

I am doing sso at moment.

P3 W1 D1 L1 so going OK!

It doesn't prove anything!

That's like beating up a disabled kid.

Trump out bidding a poor guy for a painting.

A strong lion eating a baby lion.

I played 8 games without a queen against people rated 600 point lower then me. I'm 8-0. Thus playing without a queen is the proper way to play chess, perfect opening, whatever.
What's the point? I can beat people in chess who aren't as good as me. Wow!

One last time. Again i'm asking you, Why are those games UNRATED? Exactly.

It's not personal, don't take it personally. Take it seriously.

Actually, in thematic correspondence tournaments run by ICCF, IECG etc it is usual for them to be unrated to allow for experimentation and exploration without risk to rating points that might be crucial for qualifying for critical tournaments. Thematics can be something of a specialist interest to players of all abilities and ratings.

We may object to the way Dragon Fire trumpets wins over much weaker opposition in the Forums with systems we regard as dubious, however these particular games were a fairer rating match and it was clear to all participants the conditions, so to speak, of entry.

This is because I believe to have come up with a good way to beat your opening. I will agree to play unrated against you, in the name of all that is good and fun!

I recently beat someone rated 1500, 200 pts higher, and therefore believe my rating to not reflect my true skill.
