Mate in 3...not 4

EDIT sorry - white to move

I see no way. If you play 1. h7 you lose two moves to checks(which would be mate in 4)r-d1 and r-h1.

Any check with a rook does not mate in 3. Can you possibly give a small hint?

It took me a while to figure out what this b2 talk was all about.

wait just one minute, what exactly is this 'b2 pawn' talk about?...if white to move, I see mate in 2 (push pawn to h7 followed by queen promotion) possibly 3 (mitigate any futile block attempt by the black rook)...

edit: nevermind...I see now the black rook can instead attack, which is also futile but would make it mate in 4...still would like explantion on the 'b2 pawn' however...

Think I need a third hint. How can
pawn on b2 stop rook from checking
? ? ?
