Hi,

Does anyone know of any software (hopefully free), that can take the 100 emailed games and create a games database?

Chessbase Light, I believe it can take upto 8000 games, also it is included with Fritz 4.01 for analysis (which is probably strong enough for most of us) best of all it is free!

The best one I have found is chesspad. Free and much more pleasing to the eye than chessbase light IMO. Some great features there, and its great for analysing complex game situations, as it remembers the moves you make, rather than having to go all the way back to the start for every different variation, like you have to with analyse board.

I just did this exact same thing although I do own Chessbase 8.

When you get the email it will have all of the games plus a sort lead in and a sig. Highlight all the games and copy them. Create a new txt document and paste them into that. Then rename that document somethingsomething.pgn (the extension is what you change). Then I just double click it and up pops all the games in viewable format, this last step may vary depending on what reader you have installed.
