This position is nothing. I had a player refuse to take a draw when there were only Kings on the board. He told me that it was not a draw that he had more time then I had.

Actually when there are only kings then position is draw according to chess rules.

The Blitz site here does not recognise 3 fold rep.

Does it spot bare Kings and declare a draw?

Do you think they will ever get around to recording the wins/losses on here.

I notice someone claimed to beat NL at blitz - he denied it.

But there is nothing to stop someone from doing this.
(from a game I played a few minutes ago)

I repeat I did not play phatboy666 but he cannot disprove it.
(if you know what I mean).

Do you want a laugh?

I thought I would go to the blitz site and play and win a quickie
to put on here to show my point AND CHANGE BLACK'S NAME.
(it was Fat Lad or Fatty Lady - something like that. 9...Kf6??).

I lost three games, including another Cochrane Gambit (too long
to show) before I finally won one to post.

You do realise I'm going to go for bare Kings next time
I have a blitz session just to see what happens.

I don't play on these other sites (don't quite trust them).

I wonder if the do show results here will I see some 1400's
playing perfect openings/middlegames/endings as do on other sites.

Maybe a good reason NOT to have the results shown.

(I'm arguing with myself again).

Not in MSN. MSN does not auto draw. In MSN you have to put up with those jerk that are disagreeable. P.S. Any player know if MSN accept standard draws by the rules today?

Interesting topic. Could it be an "easy" solution to why he did not offer a draw......
It was a fast 1 / 1 game and I presume that this maens an 1 seconds increament. Maybe he had no time to offer a draw !? Think of it like this: If I offer a draw and my opponents don't take it, how much time do I loose in this action. I am sure that this GM would not like to loose on time to an "normal" player.

He played 109. ... g4 in order to avoid a draw by the 50 moves rule. That proves he intended to win on time.

You know..... You didn't need to win if you were going to change the names. 😉

You can make your move and the next move then offer a draw before you manually have to make a move again.... At least in playchess you can.

But that would of meant me posting a game I lost and then
claiming I won it....you are right I should have done that. 🙂
