That one's nice, but my favourite is "The Evergreen Game".

Edit: That said, there is nothing that beats a good game of sound, positional chess. Capablanca's games are prime examples of this (I try to model my play on his).

What's so good about it? Seems their positional play is awful.

Hmmm... So, I guess you have the insight of a grandmaster with a 1587 redhotpawn.com rating? 🙂 Interesting.

To turn your argument on its head: what's so good about their positional play? I put it to you that older masters weren't nearly as positional as today's.

I've always admired this gem from the early Russian master Petrov:

You shouldnt underestimate GM's, their brilliance is beyond your comprehension and mine....

Are you serious? I've played against two masters before and drawn both times. They are not infallible, and soon enough I will beat them.

Im not sure how good you are yet because youre still provisional but it seems you have some grasp of the game. First of all, Capablanca, NOT JUST A MASTER, many say he's one of the greatest ever, secondly, masters aren't Fide Master, which aren't International Masters, which certainly aren't Grandmaster, and nearly no GM is as good as Capablanca....
I don't have hard feelings towards you but some of your comments are awfully dumb, I feel.

Well, where can we find this "favorite"?
