Latvian gambit is useful against stronger opponents too. At least in OTB games. Also In RHP I have lost only one LG game - to jimster who was banned for cheating (engine use).

Was a bit fast though - DD doesn't hang around & I think he'd be 1650+ if he slowed down a bit.
Also not sure how common the KS fianchetto is in a Latvian but controlling the long light-square diagonal proved useful in that game.
