been wanting Akizy and Weyerstrass to play since I started at this site.
Seemed like it only made sense, top two players at the site and from the same country.

Glad to see its finally underway!

I do agree though that it will probably take forever.

oh well though, will just have to check on it every week or so.

pulling for at least one win, two draws wouldnt be as exciting.

A quick bump here. The game w/ Weyerstrass as black has taken off into a mainline winawer, quite exciting from my point of view. The other game is progressing much slower with an english opening and only 2 moves made so far.

but the Winawer variation (with 0-0) is a drawish one... :'(
Poisoned pawn variations are more exciting (and promising).

Did that game end by simply a dropped Rook? Did black just miss that attack or was there more depth involved?

analising both games of each player...the draw in both games it's more probable....
