What happens if I resign?
I don't understand how I will be affected?
What will happen when you resign a game:
A resigned game is the same as a lost game. There is no diffenence between how you lose it, you just lose it. Samo, samo.
Your statistics, number of wins and losses, are altered accordingly.
Your rating is affected. As a non-provisional you lose rating points depending of the difference between you and your opponent. As a provisional (as you are now), the rating calculation sometimes can seem erratic, but in fact it is not, just different. From the 21st game and forward it is logical and easy to understand.
Well, that's about it.
As a subscriber, your tournament points is calculated accordingly; your clan games too; sieges, and the rest, too. But you're a non-subscribing member, so this doesn't affect you much.
You will not be laughed at, you will not have a baby, you'll not step on a crack and break yo momma's back, you will not forget to wash behind your ears, you don't lose all sense of smell, you just lose the game and life goes on. Everyone loses now and then.
