I play on both The Immortal Game and Gameknott. Personally I find the rating is about the same ie: I'm crap at both sites :-) But then I play for fun. I will say one thing in defence of Gameknott, and that is people are very friendly and often chatter during games. Most people on here don't seem to want to talk to each other, that's fine and should be res ...[text shortened]... f back there if I like it so much... whereas all I'm trying to do is give a balanced view.

What's the difference apart from the colour?

So this way they can choose the site they like the best and play on there, instead. It's 100% same except the layout and color, i think. You don't have to come up with a new name or register again. (Actually you had better not since that is against the rules and will get you banned) Just log on with your current name and password and you can play on those sites too. Click "my games" and your games on redhotpawn will be on those sites too. Also be sure to check out "chessatwork.com" and "playtheimmortalgame.com" if you thought "timeforchess" was neat. π
What's up with timeforchess.com. It's a mirror image (or should I say green image) of this site. What gives?

I think it's a brilliant idea, actually. This way everyone can be happy. π

Also quantity is a poor measure of quality, unless you really think that McDonalds has the best food, and Walmart the best clothes, camping gear, garden supplies, CDs, etc.
