some people have the time to play lesser players so the lessers can improve...
it's called investing your knoweledge into the future of chess...
that being said, some people are just looking for people to obliterate...

There's absolutely no point in posting invites for players > 2500 though.

Except as a sort of ironic comment to those who put up invites which can only be accepted by people rated 600 odd higher than them.
