Anyway Mensa take the top 2% of the population which with a standard deviation of 15 (the most common used, although 16 and 24 are also used, truely making IQ useless as two different tests cannot be compared) means anything >131 gives entry.

PS. 156 puts you in the 99.990549th percentile.

in finland different deviation is being used. 148 is the limit and 2% of population have higher IQs than that.

anyway lets end this discussion as it seems to remain pretty fruitless

I dont belive in IQ tests, I believe everyone who does not have a mental handicap is equal and has the same brain. Anyway my ability to solve IQ tests is about equal to Gary Kasparov - 135. I guess that proves that IQ has nothing to do with chess skill.

I'm tired of all this prejudice against stupid people. Surely, they are the most maligned people on earth. Being smarter is like being taller. Sure, there are midgets, but they are people like everybody else (only shorter).

Garry Kasparov's IQ happens to be 190, not 135!!

I am much more than that smart but I don't have a fancy smancy printed out online quiz that gives everyone 120+ scores so they can sell certificates to prove it.
