I like 10/30 that seems to give me enough time to think, where Im not rushing myself, how about everyone else?

Blitz I play 5/3 or online I play 2/12.

For USCF rated speed chess puposes I usually play 10/5 and get reasonable games.

I don't think 10/30 really counts as blitz. It would be considered 'rapid' by most people, though.

As far as blitz goes, I'd say anywhere from 3/0 to 5/5 is good.

I'm fond of 5/0 or 10/0. Nothing shorter.

5 0 or 3 0. Occasionally if I am feeling like a sissy I will add a small increment like 3 1 or 5 3.

3 10 or 5 5 and I'm unbeatable!

Edit: OK not unbeatable but at those time limits my grade is 2075.

I never understood these outrageous time limits like 3 10 or 2 12. What's the point of blitz if you can gain time up to about 7 minutes and then never lose on time because you have 10 seconds to move!? It defies everything blitz is about. I could play 20 moves on the black side of a Yugoslav in 3 10 and have over 6 minutes!

I used to play 5 12 even though I didn't need the 12.

For online play, 3 0

With a board and clock, 5 0

Everything else gives you too much time for thinking to warrant calling it blitz.
