... but I agree, opponents who will not move or resign in clearly lost positions are just outright rude. Never play them again. I've put him in my ignore list.

... but he may be looking for some way to salvage this game or even mate you. It is clearly difficult for him so you must understand it could take some time looking.

Why is there such stigma about carrying on in a lost position? If your opponent blunders, it could all turn around.

Erm, when your down a queen it's pretty tough to comeback. And when you have mate in 1 it's pretty tough for your opponent to comeback...

Nevertheless if they make a mistake, it can be your game. And I don't go in for all this "do you really want to win that way?" stuff, you win anyway you can, my opponent can't make a move in 3 days? He blunders a piece? Not my problem, I don't make those errors or if I do I suffer the consequences.
