I agree. Btw, Game 4 is another Ruy Lopez. The Spanish priest rules!

Leko seems to have a bit of play - certainly the opening is at least equal for him. Both players seem to be proving that Black is more than OK (Adorjan will be very pleased).

Very exciting. They are going to run into time trouble at this rate so anything could happen.

What? That was an excellent game - Leko went for it, ended up bailing out into a bad ending, that Kramnik couldn't convert. What more do we need - apart from an interesting game with Leko as white 😉

oh, very well. I rescind the boo. Still, I am going to be quite mad if kramnik wins this stupid thing based on one win and countless draws.

Now that Kramnik has an extra point, he'll sit back and wait for Leko to overextend himself and lose another. It's typical strategy at this level. It gets to be more accounting than chess after a while, and without the excitement of Fischer--Spassky, chess will remain a pale second to Parchisi and backgammon to the general population. I've been following Magnus Carlsen's games lately. Always interesting and entertaining, though the pundits will say the young man is not at the ethereal altitude of, say, a Leko or Kramnik.

What in the world is a ethereal altitude?

Leko wins!

He wins an endgame where I hadn't got a clue what was going on 😵

FIDE, I guess. And not over the board, but over the round table in Prague.

etherial altitude=highly rated.

I'll make a guess that it's supposed to mean being at such a high level that the air is "ethereal", which implies nonexistent?
