Agerg has gathered various components and as he runs he casts a quick ritual transforming a banana skin into a full meal! He munches on the conjured food as he and Iamatiger rush back to the fig clearing...just in time to see a huge Goblin leap to the ground and ROAR, sending a terrified smaller Goblin scurrying into the bushes in terror!
...followed immediately by MrPhil who drops to the ground, calls out "get the tribe up here now!!!", grabs a club and with an underhand swing cracks the giant Goblin in the juevos!
The Goblin's roar turns into a screech of agony as the beast falls over! He spins to see MrPhil brandishing his club backed by Agerg, iamatiger and what remains of the rest of the Banana Tribe...and then he himself scurries off into the bushes, up into a tree and away! MrPhil pursues...
And doesn't come back. Another chief is gone!
Agerg continues looking around as he always does, searching here and there...
He slips and falls down! He catches himself with one hand...
The hand landed a hair's breadth from the razor sharp edge of a broken rock!
Just then the old man, crying piteously comes and grabs Agerg's arm. "The beast spirits are taking all of our leaders, our Banana Tribe is doomed...will you be our Chief? You can have my daughter, she'll do anything you want, just make sure my grandson has food to eat and safety...just don't leave us...can't you use magic to stop the beast spirits from taking our Chiefs?! Please, I'm old and hungry...take my daughter, she's had a baby already, she knows how to make you happy...just don't leave us!"
It is twilight.

A rough set of rules - skills are added to get success number e.g.
Searching and Gathering + Way of the Banana = skill of 2 in banana skin scavenging...
Way of Banana = skill of 1 in conjuring food with banana skin
MrPhil fighting over bananas + with a club + against a Goblin = skill of 3 in whacking big Goblin in the nuts.
Starting characters get 3 skills chosen by me. More skills can be developed over time.

Haunting range blasts
Range blasts tries to exert control over the ghost. Summoning provides 1 point which is neutralized by Banana King's Taunting and Annoying.
He tries one banishment trick, diving into an underground pool of water, using the surface to scrape the ghost off. This is not a particularly appropriate banishment, however, and does not help in this case.
Range blasts realizes, however, that he called the Banana King, and fed on the flesh and blood of the Banana King, and so has a certain amount of power over the ghost, if he can just figure out how to use it! He is barely managing to ward off the ridiculous banana scythe as it is.
He also realizes that his plan to dive into a banana grove is probably a bad idea.
The struggle continues deep in the bowels of the Earth when range blasts begins to assert control...his grue powers are responding to the dark depths and strengthening his power...the Banana King is being dominated by the power of the grue mystic!!
Suddenly, all is quiet in the fig clearing. The goblins have been chased off. The grues aren't making themselves known. Agerg turns to the old man and says, "Yes, I will be your chief...my first command - seven banana skins as tribute!" The old man's mouth gapes in a toothless grin as he scurries off to do the new Chief's bidding.
Then, Chief Agerg sits and begins to tinker with some items. He has a sharp rock, banana skins, sticks, and various other random bits he gathers from here and there. He becomes obsessed, trying this and that, trying to attach the various pieces together while there's still a little light. Just as night falls, he finishes.
He holds something nobody has ever seen before. It looks dangerous...the sort of thing the non-initiated should not tamper with.

It is now dark. Hunting will have to wait for tomorrow.
The clan huddles together at the foot of the fig tree and the people one by one go to sleep.
