Ok, so far we have:

There's a distressed man lying on a rock on land who isn't bleeding. He is conscious but not there by choice. He also cannot move because of some illness. He was not sailing, swimming, flying or walking just before being on that rock.

You forgot to mention that he's wearing a uniform, the manner in which he came to be lying on the rock is important, he doesn't have any broken bones, there is no one else on the rock, and his illness was triggered by something that happened just before he got on the rock.

Is he paralyzed?
Is his illness caused by some external means (such as poisoning)?
Are other people aware of his location?
Are other people aware of his illness?
Does someone want him to die?
Is his uniform relevant?

I need to revise this a bit.

Instead of "Yes, he's wearing a uniform" I will revised the answer to:

Define "uniform"
