    Hmm, looks like the original instructions were *One* of rearrange, add one, drop one at a time, and did not include swap one - that does indeed make it a lot harder...

    i'd have to go back and check what lewis carrol's original rules were, for now let us assuem that replaving letters is not valid. (the fun lasts longer that way.)

    it's much easier to think in terms of similer words than anagrams.

    It's much much harder if you can't swap letters in one go, especially if you only try to use common words.
