Being a Physical Anthropologist I can say that tracing humanity's origin is of the utmost importance. How did we evolve, under what circumstances and will we go the way of the Neandertals? How rare are we as species in a galactic sense ? Where else might a species with similar attributes evolve?

What's in a name? Evolution and genetics are clearly biology subjects.
