"Health authorities in India's Kerala state have issued an alert after a 14-year-old boy died of the Nipah virus. According to the state's health minister, an additional 60 people have been identified as being in the high-risk category of having the disease."
India is so far away, but so was Wuhan....
@sonhouse saidNot my field, so I don't know. I imagine since NiV is more deadly than Covid, that it doesn't spread as fast/ is more easily contained. But I don't know. I don't think a vaccine will be developed unless it starts spreading fast, like into mainland Europe.

Is there work being done on a vaccine? Is it another corona virus?
