@sonhouse saidAn average American child consumes about 150 pounds of added sugar per year, which is about ten times the danger limit. This is in addition to dozens of other toxic ingredients purposely added to foods which, after 70 years, are still aggressively marketed to children.

This is good news if proven, my wife has type 2 and it cost a lot of money besides the crap she has to go through.
Now here's the critical question: Has any teacher, parent, doctor or news report ever told your wife how dangerous such a diet is to human health?
If not, I suggest you find a big law firm and file a 500 million dollar lawsuit.
PS: If you were to feed zoo animals a typical human teen diet you would go to prison.
@sonhouse
My symptoms include...
Shaking, Sweating for no reason, Massive loss of energy in an instant, irratibility, explosive anger, erratic speech and I stagger when I walk.
People said sugar might be the key factor so I went to the doctor and he said eat candy because I'm not diabetic 🙄
It was hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia 🤔 I forget which one I have.
Is that type 2?
@Contenchess
hypoglycemia is when your blood sugar levels are too low. Very serious situation that can lead to coma and death. Basically your whole body begins to shut down...very bad. I've had 4 episodes in my life... Hope never to have another. Hyperglycemia is very slow acting (years) that is "coating" all your organs with excess glucose.. This isn't good either..

I'm definitely Hypo. Because soda/pop helps.
I can chug a whole litre of Pepsi without stopping just to make the symptoms stop.
I'd say...2 or 3 attacks a month for the last 22 years. I'm 42 and I didn't notice it until I was 20 but I had those symptoms my whole life. It was when I was 20 I said something is wrong.
I wouldn't mind a cure.
@sonhouse saidYour wife puts up with more crap from you because you are so lazy. Do something every once and a while. Get off your butt.

@Metal-Brain
Yeah, being lazy really makes her diabetes worse.
You really stick your head out on a limb where the OTHER howling monkeys live.
@sonhouse saidYour laziness makes her life worse. She does all the work while you very little. You know it too. You like double standards.

Type 2 diabetes is a lifestyle choice.
Cut out all grains and sugars as well as any other high carb food or drink.
Eat more proteins and fats and get some exercise. Another thing that fan help is to fast on a regular basis. They say fasting leads to living longer.
Weight training as well as daily 30 min to an hour cardio exercise will help as well.
@sonhouse saidYes I do because I know what causes type 2 diabetes. It is called too much sugar intake.
@Eladar
Wow, you know so much about my wife and what would work.
Sugar comes from both intake of forms of sugar, as well as carbs.
Too much sugar in, not enough sugar out.
Weight lifting combined with daily moderate cardiovascular exercise burns off the sugar.
Funny how uneducated you are on this subject.
@eladar saidEndocrinologists call people like you dangerous.
