There is no "abuse" of the thumb system, only normal users disagreeing with your misanthropic posts.
My “misanthropic posts”

Do you have some examples of my misanthropy, to help me understand what on earth you are on about?

However, this says nothing about your problem, which is your attempt to shut down the voices of normal users who disagree with you.
I’m suggesting no such thing Suzianne.

As I’ve said numerous times in this thread, I want the thumbing function to remain. What I’m suggesting is that it is enabled for subscribers only so that people cannot use second, third and even fourth or more accounts to abuse it.

This is what Russ was talking about but he also mentioned specifically, banned users.

So tell me, why would you be against my idea of only subscribers being able to thumb posts?

You are not the dictator of the site
Do you still think that Russ accepts financial inducements from me to get people removed from the site?

As you once famously claimed whilst going through one of your histrionic moods of fantasy.

No malice intended but a thought crossed my mind, how much he would want to get you off of the site? 🙂

Do you mean Russ?

If so then Russ has every right and freedom to refund my subscription (I.e. cancel me) and remove me from the site.

However, I am an ardent external promoter of this site, I’ve been a subscriber for 15 years and have paid for multiple other subscriptions. I follow the site on Facebook and promote the site to friends and relatives, and I have the site’s best interests at heart.

The question you should be asking Very Rusty, is does Russ give the tiniest shyte about your infantile sense of clan injustice and your forum persecution complex which drives your childish whining.

Here’s the thread.

Thread 189566

It seems to fascinate you; you should flag it up to Russ.

Russ, you may have noticed that there has been some debate about this feature and I would like to make a serious suggestion.

The what:
- make the thumbing of forum posts only available to subscribers

The why:
- clearly it is a feature which many members see value in and that value can be commercialised
- the feature is currently rendered largely useless and frequently used as an infantile lever to overheat disagreements in the various forums
- the original intent of the feature is being made obsolete

Has it recently struck you that you need more victims to abuse?

Feel the need to spread the Gospel of Divegeester?

Look at what you typed to VR (not included here). Would you really want your "friends and relatives" to see how you treat people here?

They do I think, if given to his forum adversaries.

Gosh, all three major Chamberpot floaters triggered by a simple suggestion. And two not even RHP subscribers.

By the way, I've just red-thumbed all of Divestalker's posts in this thread.

I wouldn't want him to think that they're anonymous.

Being such a popular, likable fellow, with hundreds of favorable threads to his credit: He deserves to know which members disagree with his persistent paranoia.
