Would it be possible to add an 'analyse' link to posts that include FEN notation? It'd really improve the group analysis possibilities if people could move the pieces around when looking at positions that have been posted in the forums! Can't imagine it'd be that difficult to implement either, though i could be wrong....

    Cheers
    James 🙂

    Nice idea.

If you use Firefox and greasemonkey, ouroboros has written a script so that if you click on an in-post board, the board is opened in an analyse board screen.

    It is the "forum.user.js"

The one that highlights forum posts and clones the New Thread/Thread list tool bar to the bottom of the page.

Yes, that is the one but you also need to install analysis.user.js because of the crappy way that the functionality is implemented.

I have the forum.user.js installed but when i open the analyse board i always seem to have about 10 black kings. What's that about? Is the one on your website the most up to date one? It seems that there are a load of scripts out there that haven't made it onto the code monkey page...?😕
