50x50 just isn't big enough for somone who's 12 stories tall. I think RHP should have forum avatars at least 120x120. I'm finding it hard to express myself in an avatar at 50x50.
Can we get this fixed?

Many people never view the avatars at full size, and it's a shame.

Originally posted by Ragnoraknah. I can link to a huge image as my avatar (if I had a star that is) and it doesn't matter that it's reduced to 50x50 here, it will still require the whole thing to load. Viewing size change will not change how much the computer needs to download.
Avatars are stored off site, so don't directly affect the RHP servers. Could be a bit of a nightmare for people stuck on dial-up.

I'm quite happy with the size of them as they are, but wouldn't be too bothered if they increase slightly.
However, and this thanks to my recent experience of using dial-up, could we please have an option within the settings to disable veiwing avatars. With some of them being really large files, and coming from muliple servers not so easily blocked when using someone elses (i.e. my parents) machine.
