    Last stat (honest).

!00% of smokers wish they could quit.

I'm down to these 5 or 6 day roll ups.

Last time I quit for 2 months I came down with colds,
flu, all sorts of ailments and I put on weight.

Mind you the choice I'm facing now is not much fun.

Keep smoking and be dead before I'm 70 or live longer
dribble my food, go senile and wear nappies.

Not much of a choice we get left with is it?

No wonder all of us are born screaming and kicking - we know what is coming.

We are dated and stamped the moment we take out first breath.
Like being in prison.....a chain gang if you will.

Right - That's us back onto chain smoking again.

Nobody said quitting was easy. And if they did they were lying.

And it's not just that you die sooner, it's often that you die of a painful lungcancer which really sucks. Really.

And of course smoking close to other people harms those people as well. Although luckily smoking is banned in most public places these days, isn't it?

Ah well, it does take the strain out of living.

However, let's say the subscription fee was 15 dollars/euros per ye ompared to the situation as it is at this moment, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.
    Look at it another way.

Say you currently have 10,000 players on the site of which 2,000 are subscribers (thats 20% ) who are all willing to pay $40. This gives you a guartanteed income of $80,000.

If you were to drop the rate to $15 your guaranteed income drops to $30,000 as the 2,000 current subscribers are going to be bluddy happy getting their subscription for half price and will happily continue to pay.

Now even if 25% of the 8,000 current non subs subscribe you are looking at a further 2,000 subs which generates a further $30,000.

You are now $20,000 out of pocket, yet are now servicing increased server costs etc as the gameload for the 2,000 new subs kicks into place.

Twice the subscribers but only 75% of the income. NOT GOOD BUSINESS SENSE

To bring in the same income at $15 you would need 5,334 subscribers. This is 3,334 more people than currently subscribe and is as likely as me winning the Euro Lottery.
