Chess@Work

Simple request - Could you change the HTML header for the CAW site so that it's either blank or does not have the word "Chess" in it? No point minimising a window if your manager can read the header ...

I agree and support the hammer's idea.

I'd recommend it if I could. Could some nice star person do it for me? 🙂

for example....couldn't the URL be changed so that it doesn't have the word chess or game in it. so many firewalls block CAW...and it would be so much more useful if you could actually access it at school /work!

I find that the chess board on the screen is a bit of a giveaway too .
Would it be possible to have the 'move' button below the board, rather than (or as well as) alongside it.
This minimises the time the board is on screen for bosses to see.

You can also try to 'Auto-hide the taskbar', if you can get to the taskbar properties.

Alternatively, you can use an anonymizer with a more subtle name. They tend to be slow and the free ones are ad supported*, but in a pinch...

But I do agree, if you're working, you shouldn't be playing, unless playing is your job.

( My favorite line when I was a corporate slave: "I'm not playing video games. I'm testing the multimedia capabilities of this machine!" )

*Use mozilla browser with adblock to remove ad banners and such from sites. Very effective.
