We can already do boxes with quotes:

.How about the option to do boxes with a fixed-width font? [Such as Consolas or Courier New] This would make it much easier to get tables to align properly. With variable-width font, you get:
Round...........1....2...3...4...5...6...
Carlsen.........0....½..1...0...½...½..
Radjabov......½....1...1..0...½...½..
...which is not so well-aligned. Also, it would be great not to have to use dots to fill in the blanks. [Never cared for RHP condensing multiple spaces down to one.]

I send out a clan performance table in a message to all clan members every month and have to spend time experimenting with "dots" to make it readable.
