Some people have many open invites ALL with them playing white!

Good to see some people are taking advantage of this loop hole in the ratings system.

i agree with howardgee .... the ratings can easily be adjusted just a little .... the rating of the white player should be pushed up a conservative 10 points or so to act as a handicap, and the black player should drop the opposite ammount ... then the calculations can be done exactly as they are now - and will be more accurate.

this has not been done in the past .... but we have computers now ... fide will catch up and implement it eventually.

an even easier solution to our situation is to make 2 game duels the norm.
it is already the case in clan games and tournaments .... why not sieges and open invites as well?

You only think this is a problem because you're a non subscriber.

I haven't accepted an open challenge in the Open Invites screen for months. I play nearly all double headed clan/tournament games.

And just as a matter of interest.

Yes,also I seem to have more victories as black, maybe because I'm a passive player and I'm not able to attack properly when white.

However 10 points handicap when playing white it is too much,a couple of points would be enough.
