I'd like to be able to refer to a previous post without having to cut 'n' paste it into the new one. I tried refering to them using the timestamp of the post but is seems that that is presented to each person in their own local time. If this was also represented in UTC or a unique message number listed for each post, it would make refering to old posts much easier.
Apologies if this has been discussed before.

I have this link saved in my bookmarks...
1) http://www.timeforchess.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=37005&page=11#post_643646
I then go to the post that I want to link to, and click reply and quote, which gives me a link in the address bar like...
2) http://www.timeforchess.com/board/post.php?threadid=52718&frompage=1&replytoid=971917
I then replace the threadid number, page number and post number in link 1, with the details from link 2.

It would be nice if it were possible to post internal links like we can do for a thread for thread pages and specific posts, though. I hate ending up on RHP when someone links to a post or thread page.
