This is now live to subscribers and recent beta testers.
If you offer a game, then players will see a green dot on the "live" icon on their next request. For now, this icon will only appears on a page refresh, so don't wait for it to appear whilst looking at one page.
Games are being logged - and a method for browsing these games will be added shortly. But for now, I recommend exporting a PGN for all games you value as they conclude.
@bigdoggproblem saidAgreed - this was definitely on the todo list.
Suggestion:
On rematch, the players should switch colors.
@bigdoggproblem saidConfirmed as a bug. Very surprised by this too after so many games played in testing.
Black wanted to castle on move 15, but could not. The move is legal.
@russ saidI just experienced a queenside castling bug today.

@bigdoggproblem saidThis is classic example of the moment software being released into the wild an issue is found in the one use case you appear to have never tested.

The rook vs rook capture (invalidating castling availability for both colors simultaneously) appears to have an issue.
Fix up tomorrow AM GMT.
edit : Then I will hook up an engine to work the new code hard to catch anymore like this. Of which I'm confident there are none. 😉
@joe-shmo saidYes, you must allow system notifications. The live chess "game accepted" is the only system notification we fire right now, but will expand this to waiting for moves in CC games too soon.
Is there a notification bell when a game is accepted? I'm not hearing one when I'm in other tabs.
Edit: I must have accidentally blocked notifications in Edge from RHP.
@joe-shmo saidAre you "drag and dropping", or selecting the piece then selecting the square?
I'm also having trouble with phantom pieces staying on the board. I just had 3 rooks on the boards, after the image of one I just moved stayed in its last position.
edit : The castling bug fix will be patched soon. Nearly there.
@russ saidI'm not sure. Probably a bit mixture of both. In fast time control games it seems most efficient to drag and drop, but I can't be certain that was what I was doing.
