long thread titles get abreviated without one ever being able to find out what they said. a simple "length= xxx" stop on the title input form would prevent this, or if more is actually stored, the output header needs to be reformated so that the full title can be seen in the post output.
But I agree, we shouldn't be allowed input the characters if they aren't going to be displayed.
