I've seen where many don't want to see certain Threads especially in the "General Forum" would there be a way to do this so they could somehow block themselves from seeing a Thread they didn't want to see? I don't know how feasible this would be or if it could be done?

    Don't see the point Rusty.
If I saw a thread entitled "Venda is a prat" for example I wouldn't have to open it.I could just ignore it like I do with most posts in the clan forum when I see who the author/last poster is.

Would it not be more important for you to ignore because of the OP, not the last poster?

You see not being from England I'd have to look up what 'prat' even means. Is it a good thing or a bad thing?

"Prat" is loosely a slang term for someone who does something stupid.
A bit like me in some of my chess games actually!!
I presume OP means "original poster"
I look at anything that looks like it may be a sensible debate in case I have something to say regardless of who starts the thread.
I stop looking when they degenerate into slanging matches unless there is a new poster who may have something to say.

    Surely you're not suggesting a modicum of self-control?! 😲

Thank you for the English slang translation.

OP has always meant "Original Poster" ever since I can remember.

It is best not to take things said on here too seriously most of the time.

Having said that I still believe it would be nice to have a way not to see a certain posters thread ever. Would cut down on most of the slanging matches you've witnessed.
