In Sweden, march 2006, I payed 251 kronor for a full year, if I recall it right.

I don't remember how much it was in Norwegian kroner, but of course it's the same amount as anywhere else. That means it's probably relatively cheaper for us, because not only are the prices very high here, we also earn more on average. The prices of drinks are not a good indication for the general price level, though; they are a result of the Norwegian alcohol politics.
In March 2006 I paid 17 GBP which is about 215 Nowegian Kroner or 236 Swedish Kronor so it is about the same. As you say, the diference is in the earnings.
